Overview: This house is truly a digital house that includes a wiring infrastructure that provides for music distribution, video distribution, telephone, Ethernet, home theater, security, lighting control, HVAC control, and automation.
Music Distribution
The house includes 9 rooms of audio that contain speakers, volume controls, and wiring for simplified color touch-screen controller. The wiring is brought to a central “rack” location in the basement for whole house distribution. The wiring provides for a multi-room and multi-source system. This means each room can have the ability to be a stand alone system playing its own music source.
Video Distribution
The house includes wiring for the family room and home theater to share video sources and the wiring provides for a video management system. Additionally, sources like security cameras can be added to the video distribution.
Home Theater
This house is wired for (2) home theater systems. The lower level dedicated home theater is wired for a 7.1 audio system (14-4 each location for bi-amplification), Front Projection, touch-screen control, lighting control, motorized screen up to 12 feet. The family room is wired for a 5.1 audio system. Both rooms are wired for 1080 HD video and a simplified remote control.

Telephone
The house is wired for traditional telephones as well as a centralized PBX type system.
Ethernet
The house has been wired for a 10/100/1000 Ethernet LAN/WAN system.
Lighting Control
The infrastructure is in place to allow for smart lighting controls to be installed for automation including lighting scenes, paths, and timers.
HVAC Control
The infrastructure is in place to allow for thermostats to be installed that can be integrated into an automation system to provide temperature control based on occupancy. This is part of a “Green House”.
Security
The house comes well equipped for burglary and fire detection. The burglary system consists of a comprehensive perimeter and interior detection system. The fire system meets today’s NFPA standards. This system also features low temperature detection. The system is capable of being monitored by telephone, internet, and cellular. It can also be integrated into a home automation system.
